Jerry Stadtmueller is the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the JEK
Foundation, Inc. He is a life-long resident of Oshkosh and has served on a variety of
boards and committees of not-for-profit entities. Prior to his retirement in December
2017, he was a Managing Principal in CLA, a national accounting firm, where he
provided tax advice to a variety of entities including domestic and multi-national
companies and their owners, including John E. Kuenzl and his business entities. While
with CLA he was also responsible for the management of several of the firm’s offices in
Wisconsin and served as a Director and Chairman of Clifton Gunderson LLP, a
predecessor to CLA.
Jerry is also a Trustee and a member of the Executive Committee and past President of
the Paine Art Center and Gardens. He also serves as a Director of a variety of closely
held businesses based in Wisconsin.
Peter Lang is an owner and partner in Lang Development Inc and The Morgan
Partners, companies specialize in sourcing, developing and managing real estate
for clients. He graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in geology and
geophysics and is happy to be able to use his experience in the remediation and
redevelopment of brownfield sites.
Through both companies, he has served as an owner and developer for companies
such as Panera bread, CVS, Dollar tree, Dicks Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Red
Robin, Verve Credit Union and Associated Bank.
He has been a volunteer for the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, serving on
the community impact and basic needs grant committees, the finance and audit
committee and most recently as the president of the board of directors. He is excited to continue his work with the not-for-profit community as a director with the JEK Foundation, Inc.
He and his wife Megan enjoy all things water related, whether skating and downhill
skiing while it’s frozen or sailing and powerboating in the summer. When not on the
water, they enjoy travelling and hope to one day, visit every National Park.
Cathy Luther is a life-long Oshkosh resident who has devoted much of her life to
supporting non-profit organizations in Oshkosh. Upon receiving her accounting degree,
she joined Deloitte, an international accounting firm, where she provided audit services
to a variety of both publicly and closely held companies in the Midwest. She left Deloitte
to raise her family and to be actively involved in the community. She has served several
non-profit organizations as a volunteer and committee and board member. She is an
emeritus trustee of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation and a past trustee and
president of the Paine Art Center and Gardens. Cathy currently serves on the board of
Nova Counseling Services, Inc., an Oshkosh based residential treatment facility for
those with substance use disorder.
Mike Castle was a valued trustee of the JEK Foundation until his untimely death in August 2022. Mike was a life-long resident of Oshkosh and his entire business career was with Castle-Pierce, a commercial printing and packaging company. Castle-Pierce was founded in 1888, making it one of the oldest companies in Wisconsin continuously owned by the same family. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was active in a variety of charitable organizations. He was among the longest serving trustees of the Paine Art Center and Gardens, a long-time trustee of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, Nova Counseling Services, the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh Foundation, the YMCA Camp Manitowish and the Wisconsin Waterways Commission. Mike’s spirit will continue to guide the JEK Foundation for years to come.
“Jim Williamson was a trustee of the JEK Foundation and served until his untimely death in April 2016. Jim was a native of Menasha, Wisconsin and was a graduate of Fordham University and Marquette University Law School. He practiced law in Oshkosh for more than 50 years and served as legal counsel to John Kuenzl and his business entities. Jim was instrumental in advising John on establishing the JEK Foundation. He served as a board member for several non-profit organizations in Oshkosh.”
“Dave Lindemann was a founding trustee of the JEK Foundation, Inc. and served until his untimely passing in November 2006. Dave was a native of St. Paul, Minnesota and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a long-time employee of Lee Beverage of Wisconsin, LLC, ultimately becoming a partner in the company. Dave was highly respected in the beverage industry and was instrumental in growing Lee Beverage to one of the largest beverage distributors in Wisconsin. Dave’s son, Jeff, is the current owner of Lee Beverage of Wisconsin, LLC. As a trusted business partner of John Kuenzl, Dave was instrumental in establishing the JEK Foundation. Following John’s death, Dave served as the president of the Foundation.”
