JEK Foundation to be Lead Sponsor for Rodin Art Exhibition at the Paine Art Center and Gardens

The JEK Foundation is delighted to announce its role as the lead sponsor for the upcoming exhibition, “Rodin: Contemplation and Dreams/Selections from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collections,” to be held at the Paine Art Center and Gardens from June 17, 2023, to October 3, 2023. This exhibition will showcase over 40 examples of Rodin’s bronze sculptures, including nine monumental statues. It is the largest installation of sculptures in the Paine’s history and one of the most extensive exhibitions of Rodin’s works ever shown in Wisconsin.

With the JEK Foundation as the primary sponsor, the Paine Art Center and Gardens will present a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the artistic brilliance of Auguste Rodin. The exhibition will feature a remarkable collection of bronze sculptures, offering viewers a chance to engage with the artist’s contemplations and dreams as expressed through his masterful creations.

This special exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Michael J. Castle, a dedicated trustee of the Paine for over 30 years and a former trustee of the JEK Foundation. Mr. Castle’s immense contributions to both organizations will be honored as part of the exhibition, which celebrates his passion for the arts and his unwavering support for the Paine Art Center and Gardens.

“We are honored to serve as the lead sponsor for the ‘Rodin: Contemplation and Dreams’ exhibition at the Paine Art Center and Gardens,” stated Jerry Stadtmueller, President of the JEK Foundation. “This remarkable showcase of Rodin’s sculptures will not only captivate and inspire visitors but also pay tribute to the invaluable legacy of Michael J. Castle. The JEK Foundation is proud to support the arts and foster engagement with such exceptional artistic expressions.”

The JEK Foundation exemplifies its commitment to the arts, aiming to promote cultural enrichment and instill an appreciation for renowned artists such as Auguste Rodin. By sponsoring this significant exhibition, the foundation seeks to bring Rodin’s masterpieces to a wide audience, fostering a deepened understanding and enjoyment of his iconic sculptures.
